#Heaven is for Real

Heaven is for Real

Heaven Is for Real is the true story of the four-year old son of a small town Nebraska pastor who during emergency surgery slips from consciousness and enters heaven. He survives and begins talking about being able to look down and see the doctor operating and his dad praying in the waiting room. The family didn’t know what to believe but soon the evidence was clear.

Colton said he met his miscarried sister whom no one had told him about, and his great grandfather who died 30 years before Colton was born, then shared impossible-to-know details about each. He describes the horse that only Jesus could ride, about how “reaaally big” God and his chair are, and how the Holy Spirit “shoots down power” from heaven to help us.

Told by the father but often in Colton’s own words, the disarmingly simple message is heaven is a real place, Jesus really loves children, and be ready there is a coming last battle.

After 3 years of seeking photos of what Jesus looked like with his dad, Colton Burpo was shown Akiane Kramarik‘s photo painted of Jesus which he said “Dad, that one is right.”

  1. Read the book “Heaven is for Real”. Very encouraging as a whole, I believe it really happened. The Lord has a way in His mercy, to help us to believe. The book came at a good time in my life, it was during the time that my mother passed into her new life. God is good all the time.

  2. Thank you for sharing this even that happened to Coulton. It has meant a lot to me as I have a grandchild that was never born. Now I am expecting a grandchild in February. I have something to look foward to in both worlds. I pray that Coulton’s family and he will continue to be blessed as they are not afraid to speak out the truth that was revealed to them.

  3. My dear husband passed away in August, 2013, Shortly after that a friend sent me the book “Heaven Is for Real”. I started reading it and at first it sounded creepy to me. I can confess that it was hard to believe what I was reading. I had a dubious feeling. Hard to believe and wanted to believe. Hope my husband is with God and enjoying his life after death.
Thank you, Colton, for sharing with us your story.

  4. Heaven is for Real” is an extremely touching story. I highly recommend this book for all ages. It makes you want to go through that kind of experience. God bless you.
